    OH BUMMER, tossed the fiddleheads. I have never gotten sick, always boils them or cook thoroughly. They are the best. My family andI usually have steamers and fiddleheads.. YUMMY!!!!

          I found all kinds of stuff fiddleheads trilliums lots of stinging nettles ....but did not pick anything it all looked so happy where it was

          I am going to take a walk down to the beach today and see what is down there ...

          I am trying to change my pics and keep messing up the sizes I should just put the other ones back until I figure it out ..because I never seem to have time to finish my siggy remodel

            but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

              I got some oyster mushrooms in the fridge that have maybe waited too long for me to fix them. Does anyone know if they can be planted to grow in a garden?

                Yummm you reminded me Boonie there is a path near me that has a log that last spring had oyster mushrooms on it!!!! I have to go back..when I found them last year it was too late and they were mushy

                I love to pick and eat nettles they are so good for you and taste like the best of greens the sting goes away in the cooking process and you hvae to wear gloves to pick them ..but they are worth it ...

                and I think I mentioned above they are good for people with allergies I have read

                Trilliums are my favorite flower I just look at those

                  they had morrels at the farmers market for $26/lb

                  I love those mushrooms sooooo much I would have paid it if my husband had not have been there he was appauled by the price

                    Heidi, morels are so light, you could have gotten a million of them for $26. I understand though, Ben would have freaked out at the price too.
