I am at goal for a while now ..so I do delve into some starchy foods and I really like to not waste my time with boring potatoes or rice I like going for the exotic and unusual yams, taro all kinds of things like that...
when I lived in Panama we ate Cassava chips ..and I thought what the heck I should make some..so I sliced and fried them...then I read that the yucca or cassava has strychnine in it and you are supposed to either boil it out or grate and squeeze it our or something...they stressed it was important to do this!!
I just skinned it ...sliced it fried it and ate it ....should I have boiled it you think? am I full of strychnine now ..if so how much longer do you think I have ..because I have some stuff I want to say to people that is for sure!
