Hi there everyone! I'm on my third day of induction and i'm struggling desperately with my sugar cravings (friend just arrived with an enormous bar of chocolate for my son...great timing eh!) so i'm trying to eat little and often to stave off the little sugar devil sitting on my shoulder. Just discovered cream cheese rolled up in turkey.....oh good lord they're delicious!!! Any other ideas to get me through?

Re: tasty snackies
8 ounces of cream cheese
1 can crab meat
onion powder
Mix together and use to stuff celery, mushrooms, or just eat. Tastes like the inside of a crab rangoon when warm.June Goals
1. Continue with water
2. Use bike more (3x per week would be nice).
3. Continue with videos.
4. Go to the YMCA for water classes.
5. Build stamina for more walking.
Goals for May:
1. Water every day - at least 100 oz.
2. Walk through Wal Mart instead of ride.
3. Post every day.
4. Get the exercise bike out of basement and use it!
5. Re-read DANDR! It's been too long.

Re: tasty snackies
Oh my friend, Atkins is awesome for tasty snackies! Here are some of the easier, induction-friendly ones that I love.
Deviled eggs! =) (I use mayo, mustard, cajun spice, garlic powder, salt and pepper mixed with the yolks for the filling.)
I'm fond of jalapeno cheese cubes too. I usually eat them along with a pickle or a bit of pepperoni (though I try to limit my pepperoni intake).
I used to eat pork rinds with a dip I make from sour cream, minced onion, and garlic powder, but the saltiness got to me after a while.
If I'm hungry and feeling lazy, I'll nuke a couple of strips of bacon in the microwave on a paper-towel covered plate and eat them. They make a nice snack.
I like tuna salad (tuna + mayo) scooped up in celery sticks too.
Cold cuts are great, like you mentioned--a lot of time I'll wrap cheese, mayo, mustard, and a small slice of tomato up in a couple slices of roast beef and eat it just like that... I love it when I go to a party and they have the sandwich tray thingie. I make my weird "no roll" rollups and eat them... feels great. No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

Vigilance, not perfection.
