  • Yummy Side dishes...

    I always know what Main component of my meal is going to be. The side dishes however were starting to be salad and greenbeans...over and over and over...So I did some searching. Try them. And by all means share your faves too!!

    BROCCOLI SALAD

    1) 1 bunch freash broccoli
    2) 2 Ounces Feta Cheese
    3) 1/2 head Romaine or Bibb lettuce torn in bite size pieces
    4) 1/2 Cup Italian(oil vinegar and italianseasoning) dressing or Sugar free Caesar

    Combine, Serves 6
    Calories: 61
    Carbs: 7.25
    Protien: 3.72
    Fibre: 0.19

    BRAISED CELERY

    1) 2 Cups Celery Sticks
    2) 1/2 Cup Beef bouillon
    3) 2 TBS. Fresh Parsley
    4: 1 TBS. Butter

    Combine and place in casserole. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes. Serves 4.

    Carbs: 2.50
    Protien: .67
    Fibre: 1.02

    SPINACH CASSEROLE

    1) 16 oz cottage cheese
    2) 8 ounces sharp cheddar grated
    3) 1 (10 oz)Pkg chopped spinach
    4) 3 eggs beaten

    Combine all, mixing well. Spoon into buttered casserole. Bake 45 mins at 350 degrees. Serves 6.
