  • Pesto!

My boss grows basil. This morning she brought in some of her basil patch thinnings and a pesto cauliflower salad (roasted cauli mixed with the basil pesto) for our office potluck. Delish!!!!!!!!!

Anyhow, since I have some basil now, I've been looking up pesto recipes.

I found an arugula pesto recipe that looks really interesting (especially since I have arugula growing)

I love pesto! Only thing is, I like it on pasta and on crusty french bread. Oh well.

      Re: Pesto!

Basil is soooo easy to grow. I know this, because I can grow it! I can't believe they charge what they do in grocery stores. I love summertime and fragrant fresh herbs growing just outside the back door.

      Everyone should try it.

MoG, I was skeptical about the cauli-pesto salad, but the cauli is bland enough to take the strong flavor of the pesto.
