Re: Yes I love to eat like this!

OOOps sorry. Yes, the same recipe for the breading on the cheese sticks as for the chicken parm. Slice the cheese, dip in egg, then in the breading mix. I layed them on a foil covered pan and then freeze them before deep frying. Served with pasta or pizza sauce. Oh, YUMMMMY.
The wings were leftover from the night before. Recipe ala' Heidi3. Deep fried then tossed with the sauce and lots of chopped up garlic. (reheated in the oven after overnight refrigeration)
                  Heidi's Wings
1/2 Cup Franks Red Hot Original Hot Sauce

1/2 Cup Louisiana The Perfect Hot Sauce

2 Tablespoon New Mexican Chili Powder

                  1/2 cup Lime Juice

                  1 cup butter melted

Bring to boil and toss over the wings and bake spread out in roasting pan for an hour, tuning every 20 minutes or so.

OR, deep fry wings and then toss in sauce.

I use Frank's for my wing sauce, too!! It is the bomb straight outta the bottle!! I am gonna try it with the lime and chili though. Maybe not the butter cause I like it a little mo'hottah than that. We buy it by the quart and refill the little bottles cause it goes on anything that ketchup goes on... guess that makes it for everything!
When I make wings for DH it gets Frank's, fresh ground pepper and brown sugar. I cook it on the stove to thicken and caramelize. Just don't stick your face in the steam while it's simmerin'. Unless you have a cold, It'll clear ya up!!
Frank'd is also excellent for kickin' up cocktail sauce. Grate your own horseradish and LC ketchup and frank's....
                        Ugh... muh mouf's waterin' ya'll!
Thank you so much for the recipes!! Gonna need to get a new Fry-Daddy.

You know Barb you can also use the mozzarela cheese sticks instead of cutting up your own if you want. I want to try this breading with cheddar. I used to love the ones at the local restaurant made from cheddar. Now I'm hungry.

I thought about the cheese sticks, but I have a cheese slicer, so it was no big deal. Oh yeah, cheddar!! MMMM. I have to find that broccoli/cheddar bites recipe. I think it would work for those as well.

Momma, we use a lot of Frank's too. I make Mozambique a lot. For my "ketchup" I use Sriracha HOT Chili Sauce. It's with the Oriental or Mexican foods (I can't remember) at Walmart. Matter of fact, I use in place of the Louisiana in the wing recipe too.
Good Idea on the cocktail sauce, I never thought of that!!

Here it is. I want to try this! I think it will work.

                              INGREDIENTS:
5 cups vegetable oil for frying
1 (16 ounce) package chopped frozen
                              broccoli, thawed and drained
4 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
3 1/2 cups dry bread crumbs
                              salt and pepper to taste
                              DIRECTIONS:
1.Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).2.Place broccoli in a medium saucepan with 1 cup boiling water. Return to a boil. Cook covered until firm but tender, about 5 minutes.3.In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the Cheddar cheese. Mix in the broccoli. Allow the mixture to cool and thicken approximately 15 minutes.4.In a medium bowl, mix the bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Spread the mixture onto a large piece of wax paper.5.Form the broccoli cheese mixture into balls and roll in the bread crumb mixture until thoroughly coated.6.Deep fry the balls until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
