I mean me working overtime, not him. When I got home from work late last night, there was a big, greasy mess in the kitchen. I asked him what happened. Turns out, hubby decides he wants to make fried okra. So he filled a pot nearly to the brim with cooking oil, fired that baby up, and dumped an entire bag of frozen okra into it. Did I mention the okra wasn't breaded/battered? Just plain old frozen okra. So, of course, he's got too much oil, too much okra, and oil is splattering everywhere. He thinks the best solution is to put the lid on the pot. So...needless to say, after many burns, and fear of a grease fire, he's decided he's never going to fry anything again. Thank goodness!!

Re: working overtime poses serious danger to my husbands health
They (Men) do that on purpose so they won't have to cook again! Or they will screw up the laundry (on purpose) so they don't have to do laundry. I didn't realize this (pretty smart tactic) until after I turned 40... I just thought they were incapable and dumb. HA ha ha! Guess I was the dummy! "Oh here honey, you'll just mess that up, let me do it!"
