  • What's your favorite Low-Carb Cookbook?

I'm looking for some ideas on good low-carb cookbooks. I have a lot of recipes I've gotten from various sites, however, would like to have some cookbooks too.

Any and all suggestions, ideas, comments appreciated.

I love the Montignac diet book for its recipes. I can't tell you the name of it though but it has Montignac in the title. (It is part of the Eat Yourself Slim series which is low glycemic) You have to adapt it to Akins though as it allows things you may not have until certain rungs. The recipes though are infallible and amazing. I gotta go find this book. Where on earth did I hide it? Jeez...

well I love Dana Carpenders 500 low cal recipes and some of the recipes from her BBQ book but we need to remember her book isn't Atkins oriented so some ingredients and some recipes aren't friendly to our WOE.

And of course a big plug for our own sugarfree sheilia's online downloadable recipe books. her link is in her siggy.

Linda's Low Carb recipe website http://users3.ev1.net/~FONTLADY/ is fantastic, as is low-carb luxury http://www.lowcarbluxury.com/lowcarb-recipes.html. My favorite actual cookbook are George Stella's two books http://books.stellastyle.com/. I get alot of inspiration from them.

I have Dana Carpender's books and George Stella's books. I love both of them. George Stella's are a little easier to find the ingredients than some of Dana's. I love Linda's website too.

Joy, Dana has another book out. 500more Low Carb Recipes. She doesn't use so much hard to find stuff in this one.

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll have to look for them on amazon. Good time of the year to get some new cookbooks...I actually have time to try out new recipes.
