    How exactly DO you blanch almond if you want the skins off? I understand it gives a different flavor if they are off or on.

    I think (correct me someone, if I'm wrong pls) you just plunge the almonds into boiling water for a short time (like 30 secs) and then drain them. The skins should come off easily when you squeeze 'em.

        That's cool Barb, but I couldn't get the video to play, it just kept saying "connecting to media" and then "ready" when I hit play it goes back to "connecting to media" and then "ready" and the same thing again.
