Barb, what is Goya? I use a goya seasoning on steaks, and I've seen lots of stuff with the name brand Goya on it. What is the Goya you're using?

Barbde, you have been posting some awfully appetizing pics lately and I just added shrimp and goya to my grocery list after coming across this one. Im guessing the goya will be with the seasonings or beef/chicken cubes at the grocery store. Definately want to have this for dinner tonight or tomorrow.

Around here its in the Mexican foods section...if you don't have a mexican section try the ethnic/imported foods section.

Goya of course is the Brand Name and the one with Azafran. Azafran is a spicy herb used in Mex and Latino Dishes. It has a little heat, not like the heat of habaneros. Watch out on the sodium content in some of this stuff. When I cook with the prepared seasonings I balloon up.
Lord, my dream is to lose this weight and to be healthier.

OK, this was awsome, but MSG seriously messes me up. I don't know what having a stroke feels like, but when I eat MSG, I feel like I may have had a stroke. Anything I can use besides that Goya stuff with the MSG?
