I am still skeptical, but here is the information. Take it or leave it.

I can see how it might be reasonable, but truly I think it is a ploy to make more money. Their sugar alcohol-filled stuff will be more allowed, and it makes an Atkins licensed number where before any company could effectively sell on Net Carbs (a generic term without licensing beholden to a single company). Now just like Dreamfield's pasta is going towards net effective carbs, Atkins is attempting to muddle the waters as well. At least they haven't yet rewritten DANDR posthumously for the good doctor.

Something fishy going on when all the Atkins products that had relatively higher "net carb" counts have suddenly dropped significantly, i.e. the bagels are now only 4 "Net Atkins Count" carbs instead of the 8 "net carbs". The whole thing is obviously to put them back on the low-carb market. I just hope that people don't use these new carb counts as an excuse to put more Frankenfoods in their diet. This is going to give a lot of newbies trouble.

Conversely, if you look at the Endulge bars, a couple of them have 9 Net Atkins Carbs rather than the 2net carbs on their label....no wonder people stalled out of slowed down when they ate them!

But regardless of the Net Atkins Carbs, the grain products aren't Induction acceptable and aren't OWL acceptable until the grains rung. It'll just be hard to explain this to newbies.

Hmmm, the chart looks interesting. I like how not everything dropped, it looks as if they are at least being honest. I would like to read up more on how exactly they figure out these new counts though.

When they stop subtracting sugar alcohols and glycerine from their labels, then I'll trust their "net carb" counts.
