  • Bubble tea with out the bubbles :)

OMG try an avocado smoothie!!! you guys no lip curling!!! this is wonderful I swear!!! ...my husband is now sitting on the deck with one in his hand and a smile on his face ..he says it is buttery, creamy and just like the bubble teas he loves in Seattle with no bubbles!!!

you can make this induction friendly and I am sure there all kinds of ways to make this wonderful ..but this is what I did today and I could not wait to share it with you!!! So give it a try ..and thanks again to all of you who helped me get over the idea that a veggie in the blender was not a wonderful thing...
I am not ready for a cauliflower yet however ..I will try it someday I promise

    for 2 large smoothies

toss in the blender the following

1 nice perfectly ripe avocado... pit and peel it first
2 very fresh jumbo eggs (or if you have an aversion to raw eggs you can use some protein powder I guess but that does not sound appealing to me at all)
1/2 cup coconut milk (or cream if you are on induction modify to the amt of cream you are allowed for the day)
    2 tbls fresh lime juice
sweeten to taste add a little vanilla or put a shot of DaVinci vanilla sf syrup in

then put some ice and about 1/2 cup water in the blender and mix until really really smooooooth....garnish with mint or a lime twist (garnishing is important I think!)

this is a perfect summer breakfast that is for sure!!!
    enjoy

you guys share some smoothie recipes with me would you ..I am hooked!!!

Hmm, if you mix cream with lime juice isn't it going to curdle?

        Reminds me of a song.

there is enough fat in cream to keep it from curdling when you add lemon or lime but you have to be careful with it I guess it could happne in a smoothie..I know I make lemon cream sauces all the time with cream and lemons ..and lime cream desserts ....never had a problem actually ...I made my smoothie with coconut milk...

Only reason it even occurred to me was because of my recent cheese making -- but it was with milk and lemon and it curdled real quick like! I also made the mistake once of putting cream and lemon in a cup of hot tea--gross!

I am sure you are right

..forget making it induction friendly unless you want to risk curddling it Mog is right...and just stick with making it on the nut ring when you can use coconut milk....

I hope someone will make this it is really good

if not I enjoyed it ...it is low carb a very easy stick to your ribs kind of breakfast ...and just wanted to share it with you!

I'm an avocado freak. It's always been my favorite fruit! In Peru, it was common to get an avocado half on a plate with a shaker of salt and avocados were on every buffet. Was it Atkins or Eades who called it the perfect fruit?
