and having a blast!
This was yesterdays dinner. Roast Turkey, Green Beans (fresh from the garden) wrapped in bacon and grilled and my version of scalloped potatoes..using turnips.

I am trying hard to like mushrooms (never have) So decided to try a stuffed mushroom. Stuffed with a mixture of sausage, fresh scallions (from the garden), a hot banana pepper (from the garden) and a wee lil roma tomato (again from the garden ) Stirred in a couple ounces of cr. cheese and stuffed the portabella mushroom caps. Topped with a pinch of cheddar cheese and broiled til they browned. Haven't tried them yet...but hoping that I'll like them. That is if I can even taste them with all the stuff I put in stuffing them. Looking at the picture all you can see is the stuffing...but there really is a small mushroom cap there.
Also in this pic is poppers that I put out on the grill. Hot peppers stuffed with cr. cheese and a pinch of cheddar wrapped in bacon. I did try these...they were good!

And lastly my lunch today. Leftover turkey breast from the night before chunked up mixed with brocolli (from the garden) fresh dill and garlic chives (from the garden) and celery (again...from the garden) and mayo stuffed into a cucumber ...from the garden...that didn't want to grow very big so I halved it and stuffed it! Oh yeah...nastie decorations...are from the garden too!

I really had a lot of fun today cooking. Am hoping to not mess up this time and jump ship. As it's brought me nothing but stomache aches and the lbs returning. With all the food above I have no problems...feeling great!
Just wanted to share my lil cooking adventure today with you.

...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

I'm thinking I will try them for another meal when I am really hungry. Seems I can handle foods that I'm not particularly fond of when I'm really hungry. Maybe it'll taste better then.
