I have been toying with buying one recently also. I look forward to reading recipes, although I would probably just use mine for plain grilling of chops / steak / salmon etc.

I got the new one with the removeable plates for xmas this year. I kinda miss my old one though(family size temp control), I'm not sure why but it seemed to cook it a bit better. The new one I have sometimes I feel like it has a fake cooked texture? I dont really know how to explain it.. maybe its just me cooking it too long. I tend to always over cook chicken lol when cooking it frozen though it always comes out perfect for me. The new one has so many more options, I love making omlets on it.

Fantastic for just about everything. I throw frozen chicken breasts on there (boneless) bit of seasoning and its a quick meal. I dont think I have pan fried much of anything since I bought my first foreman like 4 years ago? Fish, hotdogs, BACON (yes bacon is great on the foreman, although I havent tried it on my new grill yet ), sausage. I love throwing slices of veggies on there towards the end of cooking to save on clean up.

I have just bought one £19.99 from Woolworths, but its not a removable plate one. They were about 40 quid more expensive.

my son loves his GF grill he loves to take chicken breasts and then marinates them in lemon juice olive oil garlic salt and lots of cracked pepper ..puts them in zippy bags and when he gets off work he grills them ...

you could make Kabobs with beef or lamb cubes marinated (again in zippy bags overnight or before work) with
olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper and then skewer and grill them

I love fennel pork chops ..you take porkchops coat with olive oil and some smashed garlic then sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste then some fennel seeds press the spices into the pork chops and then grill ....

veggies work well with the same type of lemony marinade I mentioned here you can do eggplants, zucchini's ..onions ...peppers ....

be wild and enjoy your new toy darling girl!!!!

Re: My New George Foreman Grilling Machine!

I've had my grill for several years. I love it. You can cook hamburger, sausages, chicken, fish, pork chops, steaks and many veggies in it. It has a recipe book to tell how long to cook each item. The great thing is that it cleans easily and you can set it and fix other things while it is cooking. My foods come out perfect each time. I brush my meats with melted butter and spices and it bakes right into the meat.

Sashie! I had a small old one that I loved, I finally wore it out and got the big one with the removable grills too! I miss the heck out of my old one. These new ones don't cook nearly as nice as the old one did.

I use mine to cook all sorts of meats, even shrimp on little skewers. It is awesome for cooking bacon on--no splatter! and it cooks evenly, nice a crisp! Like everyone is saying, grill veggies, slices of onion, zucinni you name it! I hope you love your grill!
