  • Can I use pork rinds with pork chops?

    Hi-

I have 4 boneless pork chops at home. Has anyone used crushed pork rinds on pork chops? Do you still you an egg batter and then the pork rinds?

    Thanks

I am positive you can :yes

They would be similar to the shake and bake pork chops if you get the right seasonings.

Let us know how they turn out!

Crush the pork rinds finely, use a blender or food processor.

Beat an egg. Dip the chop in the egg, then coat it with the pork rinds.

You can add herbs and spices of your choice to the pork rinds, just as you would if you were using bread crumbs.

Yep, works great. The secret to good low carb breading tends to be using more than one kind of flour substitute, so try tossing something else along with the pork rinds. Ketatoes work great, so do various nut flours.

Yes, as everyone said this works great! It is one of our favorites. I like to use the spicy pork rinds and then add some mores spices like sage, pepper, wahtever you like!
