boiled eggs again

any tips on packing boiled eggs and avoiding the stink when you open your lunch in public!....I just gave up takeing them with me to work because no matter how fresh they are they still have that yuk smell when you open them ...I have tossed more eggs in the trash because of this....

PS I love boiled eggs but not when they smell!...

I think the odor is from the sulfur in the eggs. It seems when there is still some residual heat more of the sulfur smell comes out. So really rinse them under cold water after they're cooked to cool them down.

Try peeling them under running cold water at work. Or peel them at home and run under cold water, make sure they are cool to the touch before packing them away.
