  • No eggs PLEASE

    I am sick of eggs. I get nasuas looking at them. But I just started induction and need good full breakfasts. Help

    Breakfast doesn't have to be eggs. I eat leftovers frequently. And I eat Atkins Revolution Rolls. They contain eggs, but they don't look or taste like eggs. I use them as sandwich buns or I eat them like bagels with cream cheese (and smoked salmon if I'm lucky to have some around).

    Other ideas

    Roll-ups: thinly sliced deli meat rolled around cheese sticks.
    Tuna cakes or chicken cakes


    Some people eat things like flax meal cereal or other flax based products... I'm on the fence about this during Induction because the starting limit on flaxmeal is 1 tablespoon daily and most of the recipes use alot more than 1 tablespoon. I look at flax amounts greater than 1 tablespoon during Induction to be used to relieve constipation (like what the Induction Rule alludes to) and after reading some flax literature by a leading flax researcher, I'm not too comfortable with recommending using more than 1 or 2 tablespoons daily over a long period of time.
