  • Star fruit

Any one have any good recipes for star fruit? I've only seen them used to pretty up fruit salad. According to fitday, a medium one has 7.13 carbs and 2.46 g fiber, not too bad for fruit. Someone at hubby's office gave him a sack full from their tree.

I don't have any recipes, but another member on here was talking about them the other day. I've never had one, but I want to give it a try, especially now that I see the carb count.

Raw. That's the only way I've had them in a lowest carb fashion. I think they're mostly for decoration because they look pretty when you slice them so they end up on tropical fruit tarts and things like that.

Hubby would like that but I don't really care for shellfish.

I guess I'll just eat them sliced up.
