Avocado is a special category food. You can half up to 1/2 an avocado per day.

I like lettuce leaves as wraps too.

I'm making an egg white pancake/bread/wrap/whatever it is right now to do the PB&J thing. I'll take some pictures when I'm done.

Okay, today I whipped 3 egg whites until stiff

I spread them in a circle on a pizza pan and baked at 350 degrees until browned. Honestly, I cooked a little too long because the outside is crispy/crumbly

I'm actually thinking this would make a FANTASTIC pizza crust as well. It would be very thin.

Here is making PB&J. It was kind of hard to spread because it was very delicate around the edges. The middle was fine because it wasn't over cooked

            Very tasty.

Joy, thanks for posting. I am going to try that I love burritoes and I'll bet I could use that as a base. Even if it doesn't roll, it folds. Thanks

Desertthorn, just don't cook it as long as I did, don't let it get to the point where the edges are crispy and I think it will be just fine.

There's not a lot of flavor to this at all, so it doesn't overpower the food you put into it. As you said, it folds...so you could fill it with taco stuff, meats, veggies, spreads...as I said, I think I could make a good pizza crust out of it...

Ooohh white pizza...alfredo sauce with mozzarella and spinach and mushrooms...yummy.

Oh...and what appeals to me about this is the SIMPLICITY of it. I've seen other recipes that probably actually taste better, but the simpleness of this makes it great!

I use Flatout wraps- they are kept in front of the deli at Walmart, 8 net carbs but they are big so a half of one can be a good serving. They come in Multigrain and an Italian flavored one. For after the grains ladder of course!

                            Re: low carb tortillas?

ok , my egg white wraps are done, just waiting on my chicken. I decided i am going to make chicken tacos. yummy.. well the egg whites came out nice, they dont have an egg smell to it.

Just some tips..if making shells, for tacos, make sure to flip them in half, when they are beggining to change color. I got a perfect shell that way.

I am unsure about adding taco sauce on induction, i have posted the ingredients in the 14 day induction forum. what do you think?

The sauce looks just fine for induction.

hey crazy--since we're talking about wraps/outer layers of food, if you like tacos, save your cheese allowment to make a "shell." Melt shredded cheese on parchment paper, nuke for about a minute, and remove. Handle carefully as it's HOT! carefully fold cheese into a taco shell shape, which will harden as it cools...

You can also make these in a pan on the stove, but I'm impatient!

I think motherofgizmo posted this idea originally...the shells taste DELICIOUS!
