Ok I made a flax cocoa cake like thing..mmm...just mix flax,splenda,vanilla extract,cocoa powder (unsweetened)one egg,tablespoon sour cream,splash water and splash heavy cream....cook in microwave about 2 to 3 minutes....anyway I wanted some kinda of caramel tasting frosting...so I mixed sugar free maple syrup (maple groves one) with sour cream and spread it on top after it cooled a bit the chilled it for a few minutes and it was soooo good....did remind me of caramel!!

Da Vinci's has a sugar free carmel syrup that is good. I bought the small bottle at a supermarket, but I don't remember which one. I've seen the big bottles at Sams Club though.Cheryl

yeah, I have been wanting to try their syrups but haven't been able to find any sugar free ones...I think I am going to request some when I go to the grocery store....it was all i had on hand...seemed to work out...Comment
