Are apples and pears okay on induction?

I have a really bad habit of eating in the middle of the night. Last night I ate 2 pears and some steak. Are these fruits okay sugar wise?

Pears and apples are not allowed on Induction. From your question I can see that you have not read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002 ed or you haven't read the FAQ section of this forum about the Induction Phase. I highly suggest that you read both. There are ALOT of myths and lies about Atkins and alot of people end up doing more harm than good following those false ways to do Atkins. So please read the book or at the very least read the FAQ section.
