  • Help Please....

I am fit to be tied - I have been checking out the Fitday web site and trying to enter foods.....most have to be custom because they don't have it. So I was reading the back of my salami package and entering the info.
Well info is for serving size 100g is 3 karb but the package is 250 g total and I had 3 slices.....so how the heck do I figure it out
    Thanks!

Is it safe to assume you don't have a scale that measures in grams?
You could take the entire package, and divide the total contents into the number of servings the package says it contains.
Geez, why can't they tell you the nutritional info based on the # of slices in a serving size? That would be easier.

umm... I would count the number of slices in the package, divide the 250 by that, then multiply the answer by 3 (giving g/slice). Then since 100g=3, about 33.3=1, then divide the previous answer (gs for 3slices) by 33.3... which should give you carbs... I hope that makes sense.

If one serving is 100 gram and the package is a total of 250 grams, then the entire package has 7.5 carb grams (because there are 3 carbs per 100 grams).

How many slices do you have left in the package?

Which means each slice is like, 10.8696g... so 3 would be like, 32.61g... so under 1 carb for 3 slices... about .979 in fact...
