    Quick question....

I just made the Dom's Cheesecake recipe and I love it. My question is...Can I freeze my servings?

For anyone interested in trying this, go for it. It is fabulous!!

    Re: Dom's Cheesecake

I love Doms cheesecake. DBF and me are nearly obsessed with it! I haven't frozen any yet - it doesn't last that long! But I'm sure its fine - like any cream dessert you can usually freeze for up to 3 months.

Who is Dom by the way? Does anyone know? I'd like to thank him/her! Blackberries are in season here in Ireland and I sprinkled a couple over my cheesecake last week - absolutely divine!

                  Re: Dom's Cheesecake

I know the menu by heart!
Its 8oz cream cheese, 8oz sour cream, 8oz heavy whipped cream, 1/2 cup splenda, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp lemon extract.

Blend the cream cheese, sour cream, splenda and flavourings together. Then fold in the whipped cream. Its that easy girls! Then pour into your favourite dishes!

I love putting them into my martini cocktail glasses with some berries sprinkled at the bottom of the glass and one or two on top.
My Mum came for dinner and for her I put the cheesecake in these dainty china teacups and saucers. I put a little shortcake biscuit on the side of the saucer for her. For me of course - it was au naturel!

                    Re: Dom's Cheesecake

WOO HOO! Thank you!! So dumb question, you use 8 oz of heavy cream and then whip all 8 oz or is it 8 oz of already whipped cream?

I'm excited to make this, I need a new "treat" and this will be ready in time for me to eat tonight!

                      Re: Dom's Cheesecake

Good question! I whip 8oz of heavy cream... not sure what it would be when its all whipped up!

It gets better with time too.... if you can, leave it in the fridge for an hour.... it makes it a little more set. You can always lick the bowl while you wait! Enjoy!
