  • Soy Protein Isolate

I am going to try "Books" fiber bread recipe, the microwave bread was a little too much like a slimy french toast for my liking...hope this one is more like a bread. My question is, I went to shoppers to get the soy protein isolate and the only one they had was vanilla flavored. Will this matter with "Books" recipe? I noticed that the recipe says I can add vanilla, would I just omit that then..being this is vanilla flavored?

Also, the recipe calls for cinnamon, is this only if you want a cinnamon toast type bread? Omit if you want bread tasting bread?

    Thanks

You probably could eliminate the vanilla flavoring or at least reduce it by half.
And you might want to taste that vanilla powder to see how sweet it is. You might need to adjust the sweetener in the recipe to accomodate that.
