    Hi

Do any of you cook your chicken on a George Forman grill?? if so how many minutes do you cook it for?

I do a chicken breast for 8 minutes, and some guy in work said I'm over cooking it!!!! lol

I cut it up and do it for about 8 but that's because I'm paranoid...

Try to find an instant read thermometer---they are a godsend! You'll never overcook or undercook meat if you use one.

Here in the States, you can find them in the kitchen gadget section of department stores and supermarkets. And the less fancy ones cost about $10 or less.

                    Re: cooking chicken!!

the government says to cook it to 170F. great if you like dried up bird.
ServSafe says 165F for 15 seconds. Better! Less dry....
but, don't forget that carryover cooking happens, so I cook chicken to about 160 and then let it finish off the heat. it will cook up the last 5 degrees while resting.
the bacteria that might be in the meat is long dead WAY before 165. So, no need to be so paranoid.

Food should be enjoyed, not feared.
"I'm big boned" ...Um, nobody has bones that big....

Buffalo wings, not just for breakfast anymore.

                        Re: cooking chicken!!

no problem, I was bored this morning at work after cooking bfast for 680. It's too early, i need a nap.
I'm thinking chicken wings are sounding good, maybe I'll go make some. I think I still have a fryer on!
