  • Cajun Shake anyone?

My dad brought me this spice from the states when he was visting, It's simply called Cajun Shake. Obviously its a Cajun Seasoning. On the back it say this :

    serving size: 1/4 tsp (1g)
    Calories: 0
    Fat: 0
    Sodium: 334mg
    Protien: 0

Ingredients: Salt, Cayenne Pepper, Black pepper, Garlic Powder, and other Herbs and Spices.

So I am assuming there is no sugar added, and that it should be safe for induction. Question is should I count it as a carb? or is it a freebie?
I would loooove to add a little bam! to my meats on occasion, but need to do the correct math when figureing out if I can have it.
    Thanks for you help

It should be fine for induction. Spices have trace carbs, but you need to use a lot before they start to add up. Those blends are primarily salt anyway, which is carb free, so, you would make it taste too salty before you racked up enough carbs from the rest of it.
