  • Crushed pork rinds!

I have never tried this because people kept saying to crush them in your blender, and I knew my blender would not crush them as fine as I would like, but then I remembered I have the Magic Bullet! I am talking about the tv informercial the crushes things to a pulp! Well, I tried pork rinds in it and it reduced it to powder! I was so impressed! It actually looks like brown sugar lol! Well I just wanted to let anyone know if they have this product it's great for pork rinds!

hmmm I have a magic bullet but I didnt think to use them in it!
I actually made fried shrimp tonight with pork rinds, but I just crushed them by hand, a very messy process! Next time i'll be sure to use the magic bullet, which by the way, is -awesome- and everyone should own one

I have a magic bullet but I haven't used it since I got on Atkins because I basically only used it for protein shakes. I've been using my food processor to crush pork rinds but it had all those parts to clean./ I'll have to try the magic bullet.

thanks for the tip I hadn't thought to try that. I have been putting them in a baggie and crushing them with my metal meat mallet because then I can just throw the baggie away. I like the no mess way of doing things, when I can.

I bought one of these off Ebay for the reason for crushing pork rinds! Does anyone have any low carb ideas/recipes for the Magic Bullet?

I know this is an old post, but the recipe I am going to try tomorrow is making alfredo sauce, and the recipe comes with the magic bullet book!
            The recipe they give is:

4 tbs of extra-virgin olive oil
            1-2 cloves of garlic
            1/2 cups of parmeasan cheese
            3 sprigs fresh parsley
            salt and pepper to taste

First...add all ingredients in the order they are listed
            Then...blend everything until smooth
Then... heat in microwave for 1-2 minutes
And then... twist on the flat blade and pulse the sauce 3-4 times(for the magic bullet)
Stir...add to pasta or whatever you are serving
