Ok, not literally share it with you. You have a long way to come to get some....

But anyway here you go. I didnt have a clue what I was going to cook this evening, so settled for my usual (yes you've guessed it STEAK), any way I went to my local tesco express, and they didnt have any steak and no pork chops either I bought something that I have never had. Basic, but different. I bought a Turkey breast. Shallow fried that and added some mushrooms. And served it up with mixed veg.

It made a lovely change and it wasnt that expensive. I may be cooking that again one day.

    Thanks for reading.

4 years in (almost) and I cook something different......

Grant, I went through a stage of cooking salmon, but after a while I just plumped back for my standard beef steak or pork,

Not that I am a creature of habit or anything!

Hey Rich, I bought a new Crockpot/Slow Cooker a few days ago and was reading the little booklet. There was a recipe for Herbed Turkey. Here's a link to it.

The recipe is Atkins friendly as it's written.

I love turkey breast. Lidl here sell three large turkey breasts pieces in a pack for under €4, which is great value. I like those kind of bargains because I am finding this a fairly expensive way of eating.

Turkey can be quite dry though, so a nice sauce helps! I had one yesterday for dinner cooked in a George Foreman grill and served with a mushroom sauce (made by adding a little cream, some basil and a clove of garlic to the pan the mushrooms were fried in) and broccoli. Very yummy.

I am having a stuff green bell pepper-ground beef, some onion, garlic and lots of spices. No tomatoe sauce because I wasnt sure if it was induction friendly. Also, 2 cups raw spinach and a little ranch for dipping.

I do a variation on your Turkey Steak thing. I brush the steak in beaten egg, then sprinkly with grated Parmesan, shove it under the grill and its delish. Its also good for slicing thinly and stirfrying.
