Here is a way to get people posting. A lot of us have families that are not eating Atkins. What about posting menus we fix that satisfy the Atkineer and his or her family while cooking only 1 meal. We could then invite newbies over to view the thread. Many have complained of making more then 1 meal.

    Example: Beef vegi soup.
I make beef soup with only vegis I can eat. I put extra meat in my bowl and more vegis in theirs.
They have refegerator rolls and butter.

I just make bigger meals and add bread if I need to ..but my theory is why should I eat it if I can not serve it!!! soups stews curries all kinds of stuff and I just make it bigger add more veggies and as I said bread ..or pasta or even rice....but in much smaller bowls than I used to !!1

I agree with Nurselady, play around with LC recipes until you find the really tasty stuff. LC cooking has the most variety of any 'diet' out there, so there is no reason your whole family can't be satisfied with anything you cook, plus, they will get healthier in the process.

Here is an example of our Sunday dinner menu ...my sons are not low carbers they just eat everything ....in fact I could put their mouth at the end of the belt at the grocery store and they would eat it as I pay for it!!!

They come Sundays for "family dinner" but anyone can come it is not exclusive ....

cream of mushroom soup with slices of
a Beautiful Smoked turkey from this Market in Portland they smoke without nitrates!!!.....
in it...topped with some sour cream....then a giant salad of mixed greens and tomato....with fresh made lemon and olive oil dressing

I made an unsweetened marscapone cheese cake and will put some sugar in the whipping cream for them to sweeten it up....

fizzy water to drink and coffe with desert....

I will toss a loaf of french bread in the oven and there you have it!!
the only thing I add for them is a couple of tbls of sugar in the whipping cream and a loaf of store bought french bread!!! the soup and salad are for everyone!!!

This is an excellent recipe, and for the non low carbers can be served with egg noodles/pasta.

garlice bread would be good too.
