  • Wen's Food Soy Noodle - anyone ever have this?

Here on Long Island we have a huge asian supermarket and I found Wen's Food (Brand) Soy Noodle which is 7g Carb and 7g Dietary fiber. These are NOT Shiritaki or kept in a bath of water, they are wet but kind of vacuum packed in a brick. When I open it I kind of shred it apart and in a wok they steam up amazingly! they don't have a taste on their own so a little soy sauce goes a long way - just curious if any of you have heard of these - they are cheap (2 serving pack $1.29) and yummy!

What's the complete nutritional info for this product? Some ethnic or imported products have weird nutritional labels. So it would be in your best interest to run the product through a "hidden carb calculator" and see what happens.

In Europe and possibly other places information on the package is different and carbs and fibre are counted separately - so when if it said 7g carbs AND 7g fibre it means just that - 7g is the net carbs. They basically separate out the fibre for you on the label, the carb count is already net carbs.

I would think it is like that these are the same, but who knows?
