  • Mock danishs on the George Foreman Grill with 5 removeable plates

I've just recently come back to Atkins and wanted to tell all of you how cool I have found my George foreman's baking plates to be. Everyone knows how to grill meat but I use the baking plates so much more. They are the best thing to fry eggs on as well as scramble. I just did the mock danish the other day and it turned out perfect! I made 6 at one time! I hate using the microwave because of the possible ill effects. Also it takes so long to make many because every time I make one, everybody else in the family wants one too!

    Here's how I did it:
Soften 6-8 oz of cream cheese
add 6 eggs, sweetner of choice (I use liquid Stevia or divincis), couple of shakes of vanilla or cinamon or pumpkin pie spice if desired, Mix up real good and pour into hot baking plates. Close lid and wait until done. It takes about 3 minutes or so. It's done when it puffs up some and it not glossy looking. Then I cut it into 6 squares using the spatula.

Here's a variation on the egg mock muffin:
Mix 6 eggs and 1/2 cup of heavy cream
Put desired ingrediants on the hot baking plate, I used browned sausage and chedder cheese
Pour egg mixture on top and close lid, when it puffs up, it's done(about 3 minutes again!) Cut into 4 squares.

I think I'm going to try the revolution rolls next. I love this thing!

More things that are great on it:
    Salmon or tuna patties
    Cream cheese pancakes
    Protein powder pancakes
    Pork skin french toast

If anybody else has any ideas, speak up!
