I've read that you should measure the weight of foods, such a vegetables, before cooking.
But what about when using an online calculator such as FitDay?
For example, I'm preparing sautéed mushrooms. When the online calculator for Mushrooms, cooked, from fresh, fat added in cooking is for one cup, is that the amount before or after cooking?
In other words, if I measure one cup of mushrooms and they are reduced to 1/2 cup after cooking, which cup amount do I select in the calculator?
