We do it this way with our London Broils when we want to make homemade beef jerky!
And we call it in Spain and Italy "carpaccio" ..... I put veeeeery thins slices in a dish and over, grated parmesano + olive oil + mushrooms (raw and in slices too).

No reason to appologize :nono I just thought that your post was unnecessary a bit uncalled for. Just like if you had posted to correct a spelling mistake.

Anyway - In NY, where we have lots of Chinese and Japanese, if you go to the largest Chinese grocer - Hong Kong Supermarket - they sell thinly sliced meat specifically for hot pot (a chinese dish) and label it Sukiyaki Beef, etc. But do not mistake that for being Japanese food.

I hope there is no confusion now, and I didn't mean to come off as touchy, just confused as to why the point was made in the first place.

No biggie. Just see alot of confusion between Japan and China from alot of folks. When I moved back from Japan I can't tell you how many people asked me if I learned to speak Chinese while I was there. urplequ:

Didn't realize it was gonna cause such a stink though or I never would have pointed it out. I know in the future if I see a post of yours to just mind my own beeswax! :yes
