    Need Help Immediately! Bratwurst!

    How long do I cook them for?! I've never made them in my life.

          Depends on if you buy them cooked (gray beige color) or uncooked (pink red color).

          The cooked ones can just be heated on a grill or in a skillet with a bit of oil until they are a bit browned.

          The uncooked ones have to be boiled first (in beer according to my uncle in Wisconsin) UNTIL they turn gray beige and then can grilled if desired. The uncooked ones will shrivel up and be not so tasty if you just grill them.

          I am not a huge sausage person but I LOVE bratwurst!!

              I cook mine in a electric skillet in about a 1/2 cup water till water is gone then I had a Little oil and brown them yum.yum
