    Please tell me that the 175 mg of cholesterol in a serving of shrimp is the "good" cholesterol ensive
    female, over 40, okay, over 50, okay, never mind.

    For a while "experts" were advising people to avoid shellfish, like lobster, shrimp, etc. because they contained cholesterol (like any other animal product).

    The good news is that shrimp contains relatively low amounts of saturated fat.

        Don't believe all that cholesterol hype the media is produceing. I have read in tons of health books that just as many folks with high cholesterol have heart attacts as those with low cholesterol. So whats with that.
        I think anything natural is good for you, and if folks want something to really worry about, worry about Trans Fats in their diets.
