  • Calculating Nutritional Info for New Recipes? HELP!

    Hi All,

I have a quick question. Is there a website where you can calculate nutritional information for a recipe? A place where you can list all of the ingredients and it'll calculate everything for you? I need it!

The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!

Fitday.com - just use a day you haven't previously used to enter the indgredients, then you can add the recipe as a custom food, with all it's nutritional info, so that if you make it again it's already in there.

I use fitday.com solely for figuring out recipe carbs.....

I use August and July 2007 (before I started) for recipes. So my custom foods list is full of things like "Beef Casserole - Aug 10th" or "Broccoli and Cheese Soup - Jul 19th" which means I can store the recipes and know where they are when I want them again.

One tip - enter the ingredients BEFORE you make the dish, not after. It means you can tweak the ingredients if it isn't coming out with the levels of carb/fat/proteins you thought it would.

I spent $20 on "the living cookbook", well worth the $$
