  • Live Food = Live Bodies

I want to share with you all what my first Raw Food meal looked like, a silly sonnet and the recipe on how to make it.

Special thanks to Shazzie for the delicious recipe!!!

    My mouth watered...
I just held it in my hand and ate it.
And i spooned out the insides if i wanted a mooshy bite
And I chomped on the outside if i wanted a crunchy bite
This was the most heavenly experience eating veggies. It was absolutely divine!!!

    Stuffed Red Bell Pepper

    Stuffing:
    1/2 Red Bell Pepper
    Sundried Tomatoes in Oil
    Fresh Basil
    Fresh Parsley
    Walnuts

Blend stuffing in a food processor or blender... stuff in that juicy red pepper and eat it!

I wonder if you could substitute some other nut for the walnuts----I find ground raw walnuts to be rather unpleasantly bitter due to the tannins.

I bet pine nuts would be good----with the basil and tomato, it seems a natural.
That is a tasty looking dish

I like pine nuts, but sometimes their resinuous taste is too overpowering. Of course the tannins and resins can be made milder by toasting them, but the raw foods people don't cook/heat foods, so that won't be an option if you want to stay true-blue raw food with this recipe.
