Well, I didn't have lamb chops tonight as I had planned. I had a "pizza omelette" and creamy mushroom soup instead, along with a few grapes and some really yummy goat cheese. Having extra servings of the mushroom soup in the freezer came in handy tonight
Tomorrow I'm going to make a big pot of mock split pea soup. :yummy~Megs~

Tonight is shrimp with alfredo sauce, asparagus cooked in garlic and butter and caeser salad. (Little portions for me though because I fast on all Friday's of Lent.)"Only request in my behalf both inward and outward strength...that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one." -- St. Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to the Romans

Just curious, which gins have you tried? If you aren't a huge fan Junipero or Plymouth may be overkill, both have very ginny tastes. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to gin, if someone uses Seagrams or Gordon's it might as well be rotgut to my pallette. If you haven't tried it before check out Bombay Sapphire, it is completely different than regular Bombay, and has a very subtle flavor profile, a little floral, complex, and easy to swallow.Originally posted by nurseladyI do not like gin....sorry and yeah I know you are NOT the only one who says that too me ......but if I told you I was drinking straight ice cold Vodka in glass with a spritz of vermouth ...it does not sound as nice!!!!...but who cares it is good!!!!...I am a vodka drinker for sure!!!....I like a single malt on occasion ..and good wine and of course living the Pac NW I love a good microbrew!!! I had thin crispy crust pizza (toppings: one had pizza sauce hamburger, bacon, cooked and diced peppers 'n onions, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses and the other had pizza sauce, ham, a smidge of crushed pineapple, cooked, diced peppers 'n onions, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses) and a lovely salad with one of my favorite dressings. Tea and Almond Crunchie cookies dipped in homemade dipping chocolate (no sugar alcohols). These cookies are like biscotti, but so very easy to make with sliced almonds, splenda, egg white, almond extract. Yum - they would make good crackers too, if savory accents are used instead. I made another batch of the pizza dough in the bread machine and made the oat tortillas, which I'll use to make Mexican Lasagna.Jennifer (48 year old Atkid)

Tonight is my 11th wedding anniversary and we are going OUT! Kids are staying the night at my husband's parents house and we're going to try out a seafood restaurant we haven't been to yet. (then we're going to see the movie Constantine) I'm horrible at cooking seafood so I'm looking forward to having a professional do it for me!! :geek"Only request in my behalf both inward and outward strength...that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one." -- St. Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to the Romans
