Splenda Quick Packs

You're likely all aware of this, but just in case... Splenda discontinued their "Quick Packs", which are little boxes of 5 pouches each of which are equivelant to 1 cup sugar. This is not the bulky Splenda in the big bag, so it does not have the extra carbs that the big bag has. People use them for baking, drink mixes, etc;

Anyway, Big Lots (a discount store) has them on clearance for $1 a box. So that's 5 cups of splenda for $1 Needless to say low carbers have been clearing these things out like mad. Personally I picked up 30 boxes today from my local Big Lots. It's an incredible deal if you bake or use bulk splenda in large amounts.

great tip. big lots is hella far away for me. i went online and their website is so un-user friendly, they don't even have a search feature. Maybe I'll go there after work. But it's like a 45 minute drive

plus i don't really use splenda, but I'd like to start cooking more.
