So, I have a package of bacon in my fridge that promises that it's 0 carbs. However, amongst it's ingredients is sugar. I'm assuming that means it simply has less than 1 carb of sugar per serving. Is it alright to eat if I count each serving as having 1 carb for the purpose of the diet? How has it impacted those of you who have tried using it in limited quanities (I'd be limiting to no more than 2 servings, 4 strips, in a day)?
I did this about eight years ago and lost a lot of weight at the time, but I don't think I ever had bacon on it back then, oddly enough, so I didn't have to deal with this issue.
I'd prefer not to waste the food I've bought, obviously.
