I'm planning to start Induction soon and need some help with preparing and freezing meals. I had a baby recently and have limited time for cooking. I was thinking I could cook one day per week and just freeze the meals. There are several "freezable" recipes on the Linda's Low Carb site So on to my questions... (I have NO experience with this)

    1. Do I need to separate the food into individual portions before freezing?

    2. How soon after cooking does it need to be put into the freezer? Does it need to cool first?

    3. Do I reheat it in the microwave or oven?

I know these are dumb questions but I really have no idea how to do this! Thank you!

    Re: Freezing

It really depends on the food, but in general, you should cool the food to room temperature before you freeze---that's just to save energy and I think it helps prevent ice crystals from forming.

      Re: Freezing

freeze it in individual portions. If you keep thawing and refreezing it wont taste so good.
