  • Cream cheese has to many carbs!!!

Hi, I was looking I believe it was on the snack board, and someone said that they eat cream cheese on celery sticks and I thought they said there were no or hardly any carbs.

Well the only kind of cream cheese I know of is phillydelphia cream cheese and it is 2 carbs for 2 tbsp. That is to many carbs for me, but I'm sure they said it was an induction snack. Is there some other kind of cream cheese that I don't know about?

Regular Philadelphia brand cream cheese (brick form) has 1 net carb per 1 ounce. The non fat or the neufchatel ones have about 2, if I recall correctly. And the whipped or softened have about 2 also. Most store brands have 2 net carbs per 1 ounce also.

1 ounce of cream cheese goes a long way, especially if you mix it with chopped olives or some other Atkins friendly ingredient.

Yes, Cream Cheese isn't very carby at all, even during induction, where you only have 20 carbs per day to play with, 2 tablespoons and thus 2 carbs goes a long way.
