Folks -
I'm thinking toward mid-March and St. Patrick's Day with corned beef, cabbage, onions, carrots and potatoes. The onions, carrots and potatoes are for the rest of the family. I'll sign up for the corned beef and some cabbage. When I'm counting carbs do I have to take on an additional carb count because the onions, carrots and potatoes are boiled in the same pot?
If yes, can avoid most of 'em by boiling "my" cabbage separately?
(I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!)
Thanks much.
