So I'm confused about artichokes. I only eat them fresh, and am having a hard time determining the carb count based on artichoke size. Has anyone found a guideline for what they mean when they say "medium" or "large" artichoke? I have a food scale, so weight is my typical way of determining portion size, but what about when you just scrape your teeth one the bottoms of the leaves and then eat the heart? Tips, please?
