Beef jerky

Is beef jerky allowed? I think I read that it is but can't find any posts using search feature.
And if so can someone recommend a brand that doesn't have a bunch of sugar in it? Maybe I can find it online - the only brands I see in my grocery store are loaded with sugar.

Leslie, yes, beef jerky without sugar is legal.

I have not seen any in supermarkets without sugar. I did find some online a while back that had none -- made by a small company that prides itself on natural, healthful ingredients.

I didn't order it and can't find the link right now, but if you Google "beef jerky no sugar" you can probably find it.
