Friday is my hardest day of the week and tonight to make it harder I have been invited for girls night at this amazing Taqueria Guayaba near by....they make the real tacos!!!! even ones with tongue! So being it is Friday Payday and I have had a very long pay period worked weekends) I want to enjoy myself...so I am going to have to think this one out...I may just order what I want and dump the rice and tortillas onto my girlfriends plate as usual ...and a beer...but I am drinking that!!! :nod

what do you do on your Friday nights after work for an end of long week dinner?

Plan ahead, know what you are going to order, set you beer limit before you go, and most of all have a great time.

Usually, my Friday nights involve dropping my son off at youth group and spending the evening doing errands with my hubby (Costco, etc.).

A full, interesting life I lead :sarcasm :laughing

I'm stopping by Harris Teeter to pick up 5 lbs of Alaskan Snow Crab legs since they are on sale for $4.99 a pound! We'll have them with garlic lemon butter--Man I can't wait! So quick and easy and sooooo delicious!

Oh come on now..I have you all beat!!

When it's Friday..........it's time to let loose yet not lose control.

Try Hot Wings.... <-- My fav!

The crab legs sounded pretty good...

I like making soup as well. I like making a Pasta e Fagioli ( Pasta with bean soup) but subbing for a carb friendly pasta. GREAT stuff! :wave

Stuffed Chicken breasts are great then grilled ....

Possibly grilled portabellos with a reduced balsamic vingear sauce is always a crowd pleaser.... :nod

          Hmm...what else..

How about a Spinaci e agilo salad? Spinach sauteed in olive oil and garlic. Mmm Mmmmm :yes

Or a low carb stir fry !

Just a few of my favorites!

We had girls night last night also, and we went out to a Korean restaurant. It was really funny, Korean restaurant, Japanese waitpersons who didn't speak English and three ladies who didn't read Japanese menus. I did well. Korean restaurants have grills in the middle of the table so I ordered a plate of veggies and raw chicken and grilled it. The only illegal thing was a coin of corn. It was good and fun.
