I have this recipe for Cheesecake that I am trying to work into this WOE for Easter. I am going to replace the Sugar with splenda but it has 6 Tablespoons of flour in it. Any suggestions?

You might want to try a different recipe. I don't make cheesecake, but there are low carb recipes out there. Maybe someone else will come by with a recipe for you.

Do you use flour for the crust only? If so, you could just avoid eating the crust.

I don't think there is any substitute for flour legal during Induction. Sorry.

I tried to convert a chocolate cheesecake into low carb. We have it at all the holidays. Unfortunetly it was really BAD. It was uneatable. So I'm going to try one I know will work. I'm toyimg with pumpkin.

What kind of cheese does it use: cream cheese or ricotta?

I've seen flour used in cheesecake recipes, but it's only there to absorb any excess moisture the cheese might contain or sometimes to absorb any excess moisture from the eggs it contains.

it uses cream cheese ricotta and sour cream. There is also some eggs, vanilla, sugar (replacing it with some splenda) and I think thats it. I dont have it with me

Make sure the ricotta is drained very, very well. Your nana's recipe uses the flour to absorb any excess moisture of that ricotta.

You'll have to put the ricotta in a seive and set it over a container and let it drain in the frig at least over night or longer.
