    The "saffron lady" :hug

I was looking in my files for a recipe to MotherofGizmo and I found this one. Hope you like it:

    Garlic chicken

    chicken (in pieces)
7 or 8 garlic cloves, not peeled and a bit squashed.
    white wine
    Saffron (here we go!)
    Oregano
    black pepper

Fry (low heat) the chicken pieces in olive oil. It must be cooked at a veeeery low heat and covered. When it´s almost cooked add the garlic (remember, not peeled) and move all.
After some minutes (5 or so) add the saffron, oregano, black pepper and 1/2 glass white wine.
*The good the wine is the better the chicken taste.

Let it cook for another 10 minutes and enjoy! :nod

                  Ok Pau!

My husband cut me up one whole chicken, I prepared it as you said, served with a side of fresh spinach saute'd :icondance in garlic and olive oil as well (can NEVER have too much garlic in one meal that is for sure) We had a nice Chardonay from the Napa Valley with it...and

My friend I had every intention of taking a pic and posting it but we were so hungry it was gone before I had a chance to!!!

                  gracias mi hermana en cocinar
                  Me Gusto mucho!!!
