  • i need help figurng out this recipe

Ok today i made for lunch the cauliflower bisque soup from Linda's website but i didnt have enough cauliflower. The recipe calls for 20 oz but i only had 16 oz.

here are the quantities I used:

    CAULIFLOWER BISQUE
    1 small cauliflower,about 20 ounces after trimming ( i used 16 oz)
    1 small onion,leeks, chopped, 2 1/2 ounces (i used 2oz green onions)
    2 tablespoons butter
    3 cups chicken broth
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped *

Makes about 6 cups or 6 big servings ( mine made 4 1/2 cups)

Per Serving: 150 Calories; 12g Fat; 5g Protein; 6g Carbohydrate; 3g Dietary Fiber; 3g Net Carbs but what would my counts be?

I ate a 1 1/2 cups of it and cant figure out the carb count and how to enter into fitday. Can someon help me?

i tried to use food advisor...i registered but it wont accept my registration so i cant enter a food.

You have to pick an empty day in FitDay. Enter all the ingredients there and you will have the totals at the bottom of the page. Those are the totals for the recipe. So you just divide all of them by the number of servings and you get the nutritional information for 1 serving.

Let's see... I used the numbers in FitDay (and wrote them in red) and the quantities you mentioned (e.g. 16 oz cauliflower instead of 20).

    2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped * 2.7 calories, 0.06 g fat, 0.47 g carbohydrate, 0.25 g dietary fiber, 0.22 g protein
    So the totals are: 728.6 calories, 68.1 g fat, 20 g carbohydrate, 9 g dietary fiber, 14.6 g protein.

Makes about 6 cups or 6 big servings ( mine made 4 1/2 cups)
If you divide the numbers above by 4.5, you get (per cup): 162 calories, 15 g fat, 4.4 g carbohydrate, 2 g dietary fiber, 3.2 g protein.
