What will you make first? I started with drying blueberries and strawberries when I first got mine, as well as making jerky and fruit leather.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

My co-worker has a lemon verbena plant and gave me a bunch of cuttings. I'm rooting a couple in the garden, but I'm dehydrating the rest. It makes a very nice herbal tea.
There's so much I want to try. I came across a recipe for zucchini chips, in which, the sliced zucchini is dried until crisp and eaten like snacks. So I want to do that eventually. And I remember reading a magazine about 10 years ago, where they made vegetable snacks (potatoes, turnips, carrots, green beans, etc.) using a microwave to dehydrate the vegetables. That technique worked well with potatoes, but I couldn't get it to work with other veggies. So maybe I'll experiment with things like peppers, etc.~Megs~

The lemon verbena turned out well.
I have to order an attachment to make fruit rolls/leathers. I've been scouring the Internet for recipes. And found one here: NESCO® American Harvest - Buy Online! and here: http://www.nesco.com/recipes/?catego...d=bc59a659a8eb
I figure if I sub the potatoes or part of the potatoes with cauliflower or turnips, I should be able to make a snack chip.~Megs~
